That wont help the op because even if he just switches the card from plat to reserve, its still in his wife's name, so he wont get the benefits because the benefits only go to the primary card holder, meaning, he wont get lounge access unless he gets a reserve for the secondary card holder, which is an extra $150, and it also wont help him as a tie-breaker for upgrades
That's my exact issue. I'm going to attempt to contact them again tonight, for some reason their phone system was saying there was a 30 minute average wait time when I called last night before making my original post.
I'll do whatever I need to, I guess I was just hoping there would be a more efficient way than keeping two cards when we will barely go over the best return spend threshold for a single Reserve account.
