After March 25th, BA will only fly to Sydney via Singapore.
You could use miles to travel via Hong Kong or Bangkok (with Qantas on the second leg), which opens up more destinations in Australia, including Melbourne and Perth.
You also have the option of Cathay via Hong Kong to several Australian destinations.
