So, I have a twist on the above OP's story.

For the first time in over 13 yrs, I will not have status after tomorrow. My job for most of last year required no travel and when I changed jobs, I started traveling again and just missed FO by 2k MQM's. My wife is PM and can gift me SM but I am not sure of the benefits of this as I have the Delta Reserve card and everything I value I already have due to the card and I will have SM again in probably 3 or 4 weeks at most. Do I have her gift me SM or do we get the SWU's, completely at a loss on the path to take.
