When you go to Vietnam, it's obvious that you go to a country that has a different approach to the DPRK than most western countries. Hence the "regime of truth" is a very different one...
You are - pretty obvious in Vietnam - subject to socialist propaganda every time you leave the hotel, too.
I don't have issues with a DPRK restaurant in any style at all - that probably gives some of us interesting insights to this hermit country; same goes for Afghan, Iranian, Somalian or whatever restaurants. However, IHG opening a hotel there would be dubious, indeed.
Oh, how is the hotel btw? We're heading to Danang in July, I'd appreciate any information.
