For a 2P, the requirements for qualifying come to an annual rate of 40,000 miles. For 1P, 70,000 miles. And for Platinum, 75,000. That's taking the 90 day window and annualizing it.
It's actually 100k for plat, but that's still not bad for 90 days. I'll bet almost every plat has 25k quarters sometimes.
It's also fine for an Asia flyer--we have a lot of them here.
Are these challenges or matches? In other words, do you already have to have an equivalent status on another airline? Or do you just have to complete a challenge? If it is just a challenge, I don't know why just about anyone flying to Asia or Oz wouldn't just sign up for the Plat challenge.
