What to do early in the morning in Tokyo?

Hi All -

I'm on the LAX-HND flight in a week where I arrive at Haneda around 5am. I'm connecting a 5pm flight out of NRT and am meeting a friend around 11am in the Shinagawa area.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do until then? My recollection of early morning in Tokyo is that there's not a lot going on (and this is on a Sunday).

I wasn't sure if I should just hang out at the airport or try to venture into town and wander a bit before heading to Shinagawa.

I'm heading back to Tokyo in April with some friends and we'll visit Tsukiji at that time so I don't need to visit it on this trip (the one early morning thing that I have actually done)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
