No it was on the departures floor which was ground level, by Zone R. Along the corridor where you could walk from T1 to the old T2.

Taking a lift by itself would not be the end of the world, but you tend to converge with lots of other people taking a lift to get to the Arrivals lounge and then leave it. The lounge works well when you have hand luggage and can use the escalator but I do think it is a PITA with more substantial baggage.
