You can buy additional miles. However, if it's more than just a few, it's probably not worth it. They charge you 3 to 4 cents per mile when often the mile is actually not worth more than a cent.

Ditto about paying for transfer. Just get them a reward from your account. Or more likely, just pay, might well be the cheapest.

Bottom line, Aeroplan is just a scam.
