UA non-*A Codeshares - do they qualify for miles/segments?

I'm sure there's a quick & straightforward answer to this, but "search" doesn't pull one up for me. A few bookings I've been looking at recently through United & Air Canada are operated on metal owned by non-Star Alliance airlines (e.g. Aer Lingus into Dublin under UA, Cathay Pacific into Australia under UA, Quantas domestically in Australia under AC).

If one buys a ticket from United or AC but is on non-*A metal, does one still accrue status miles and segments for Aeroplan?
