No experience with this hotel, but some hotels do not allow certain room types on points. Recently I had a stay at a property where I wanted a particular room. I used points to book the highest suite category they would allow, then called the hotel to negotiate payment of a supplement for the one I wanted. This has worked for me in Asia and Europe.
