Take HKG-LHR on BA for example ... upgrades from Y to J requires 70,000 miles ... while upgrades from Y to Y+ and Y+ to J requires 30,000 miles.....

Hope this is a mistake ....
this depends on how CX treats Y+. makes complete sense if they treat this as just the same as the Y cabin. If they follow BA's route you wouldn't even be able to upgrade from Y to J
