I'm trying to choose between the Phoenicia and Le Vendome for an upcoming weekend trip. Both are about the same (high) price. Le Vendome sounds better for a leisure trip as it is less of a business hotel; on the other hand, the decor looks very old-fashioned and not like a boutique hotel at all. Anything with a good chance of a sea view, a decent pool and a club lounge (I'm Ambassador) would be the winner.

Any recommendations either way?
