If you absolutely positively have to be there the next day, I would not take the last flight of the night out of any airport in any season. Seriously. I don't know what your risk tolerance is, but mine would never allow me to book the last flight of the night the day before I have to be somewhere.

I've had flights from large hubs canceled without any weather issues (in the middle of the summer). If you talk to those of us who fly a lot, you'll learn that the last flight of the night is asking for trouble.
