Agreed, have been very lucky to receive some excellent one night stay upgrades or very short duration stays but think my chances are quite slim this time understandably of course. One can hope!
A little consult with Doctor Google results in "Stephen Webb, General Manager at Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa..." unless things have changed in the last months.
Interesting, I looked on Trip Advisor, the name that came up was different but they had made comments within the last week or two (however, it could be that both people are employed by the hotel).
