Insurance4carhire do annual US Policies for UK/European Drivers,

About £119 (And 25% £29.75 back through Quidco if you use it) So total for annual policy after quidco £89.25

Covers trips of up to 31 days a time for 365 days, CDW/SLI everything including Tyre and key cover,

What the policy covers
■Covers the rented vehicle for CDW/LDW (Collision Damage Waiver/Loss Damage Waiver) up to US $75,000
■Provides Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) covering third party up to US $1,000,000
■Includes cover for theft and damage to the roof, windows, undercarriage, headlights and tyres
■Covers towing costs relating to damage or mechanical breakdown
■Damage by misfueling up to £500 per claim and maximum £2,000 per year
■The policy holder, who must be the person hiring the car, and 7 additional drivers named on car rental agreement

I find it much cheaper to have one of these policies and use the discount hotwire/priceline car hire rates in US$ than use UK consolidator rates

If you do 2 + trips a year to the US gives a really good saving

I have had policies witrh them since 2004, had 2 claims and both were sorted out direct between the Rental Co and Insurance4carhire without affecting me at all (No Credit Card hold and reclaim etc. All just sorted like a normal insurnace claim)
