Ah now! Just checking the T&C's in the small print at the back of the booklet and it states for the BA offer " This offer is only available to Selected Cardmembers of American Express."
The VA small print states " This offer is only valid to the recipient of this mailing"
It looks likea targeted mailing guys so take care before transferring. Maybe its all connected to the "opt in to promotional marketing" fiasco in the last offer from Amex.
