Not quite sure where to put this tidbit of info.

Left on 3047 out of F today at 3:45, headed down for a northbound departure. Having spent 15 years as a firefighter, I quickly saw a header of black smoke pushing. As we got to a east, there was a BA jet with the front end with a working fire. Fire rescue was on scene, 1-2 minutes later we were on the runway and crash units were using the deck guns on a large fire still growing.
