I can't wait to go back to DCA in July to see if I get the same approach.
I fly into ORD multiple times a year, and it has allowed me to learn that I don't mind sitting on either side of the aircraft. I like flying into ORD because either side I sit on, I either get a view of ORD (I have seen it snow covered many times) or fly over MDW. I remember seeing Navy Pier at night as well as downtown Chicago.
However my favorite flight that was the most scenic was IAH-CDG! As we flew Ireland we were treated to a nice sun rise, then over into the United Kingdom, the English Channel and the French Countryside!
Also I enjoy the IAH-LAS-IAH flight with all of the mountains especially during the winter! Plus the flight from IAH-JAX-IAH is a scenic flight whether at night or during the day as you normally fly along the coast and you can see all the ships at night with their lights.
