So-called UA?CO? flight booked for April shows a "CO" leg as a code share

Booked an international flight with return via SFO on 4/4 & ongoing connection to a domestic flight. This used to be an easy transition via SFO; just go upstairs at the International Terminal, use domestic (SFO-SEA) BP at TSA & be on the way via the the secure connector. This worked because both (UA) BPs could be obtained at the original checkin overseas. But *this* itinerary shows the SFO-SEA flight as "operated by Continental" & says I'd need to check in w/CO. Huh? Does this mean exit International, go (somewhere) to a domestic "now/UA" counter, or will the overseas check-in work seamlessly to produce one grand & glorious set of BPs right from the start?
