Update for anyone currently going through this nightmare...

Hi Guys. This post was very helpful to me and I wanted to post my recent results. See my email to and from DirectTV below. FYI, most of the email addresses listed towards the top of this thread are no longer working. The last one I tried was for Ellen F. which I sent yesterday and received a response to this AM. I had called through for a 12.5K bonus when I signed up but was only awarded 10K. This has taken me 90 days and counting....amazing.

I am writing to tell you how disappointed I am in the customer service I have recevied fromDirectTV and in the hopes you can resolve my STILL open issue.
I found your contact information from an online forum with numerous others who have had the same problem I did in regards to the American Airlines bonus programfor new sign-ups.
After signing up through a 12,500 point promotion for American in early November, I was told that I could expect my miles within 6-8 weeks following my first 30 days. I called numerous times, opened an "escalation," etc. and always seemed to get a different answer. Well I finally received my miles, but only 10K, not the 12.5K I had signed up for.
What is the issue? To cap things off, I received a rate increase notification!!!!
I have had great viewing experience with DirectTv, but your PR/Customer service could definitely
use some work. Can you please assist me in getting my correct mileage bonus?
