Club Carlson is the (fairly) little known reward programme of the Radisson and Park Plaza group. They are currently making a serious attempt to build awareness of the scheme and have been running some cracking promos.

It starts at 2,000 points for 250 miles, and goes up to 100,000 points for 18,000 miles.

Under the triple points promotion, 100,000 points is surprisingly easy to achieve. Triple points = 60 points per US$1 of spending. This means that you only need to spend $1,666 - just £1,053 - in Radisson properties between now and March 16th to get 100,000 points. You could easily do that in one stay, and it is 18,000 Avios into your account.

If you were comped to Club Carlson Gold, you will be earning 70 points per $ under this promotion, so you would only need to spend around £900 to get 18,000 Avios!

Worth a look, I think, if you are in a position to direct your hotel spend towards Radisson in the next 3 weeks.
