So scale that up to a migration of an mid 1960's mainframe system to a modern server based system, with hundreds of internal and external interfaces, for a 20-30,000 + organisation with world wide offices, in places like Khartoum, that has to happen overnight (but the airline has to still operate while you are doing the cutover), and you will have an inkling of what an airline migration is like.
