Yes, please keep me updated! Actually, I just sent that letter as well but perhaps not so smart since I will be unlikely to meet any challenge (except the two flights already book, any UA flights will only be later this year).
Finally heard back from UA and they turned me down on the status match challenge. Not really a surprise, they basically ignored my "bmi leaving *A and I need a new *A FFP" request. They just said BD*G gets me everything UA*G has and so there is no need to match. So back to waiting until bmi officially leaves *A and trying again then.
