The FT equivalent for cpap is www.cpaptalk.com.

Log on, do a search for travel with cpap and you'll get numerous threads that talk about user experiences/advice/FAQ.

This is what I travel with in my cpap 'bag':

1. cpap unit, two power cords [yes, sometimes you leave behind the power cord in the hotel room!]
2. hose, extension cord [10-12 footer as there is usually never a power outlet nearby].
3. small roll of duct tape [in case hose develops a leak]
4. mask with extra nasal pillows
5. copy of my Rx, in case i lose everything on a long biz trip
6. luggage tag is optional, i found it was helpful years ago but now cpap pretty well recognized by TSA and international security.

Re a smaller 'travel' size, most of the latest model units are pretty compact. I have two ResMed S8 autoset II, one for home, one for travel. It's not much bigger than Everest [without humidifier]. The newer S9 about same size.
