I imagine that DFW-based EXPs are a small % of total EXPs in existence so you're pretty much at the bottom for upgrades within this group.
I understand the connecting passenger priority - but 2 years ago I got 100 straight upgrades flying pretty much the same route - buying an average of 21 days out (less than currently). This is defintly due to the reduction in capacity.
