Was there Jan 4-6 2012 and never saw many ramped bridges except on the South side by St.Marks and further up. Ugly yes but a treat after walking the city for days lol. The city had lots of flood platforms stacked all over the city in case the full moon brought flooding tides. Must be insanely crowded & slow when people are herded onto small plywood pathways.

They know Tourists want pictures so why stack them in plain sight to block pictures ? Hide them in a side alley. But guess who cares about tourists who are already there, they have no choice.
