[Old rule]..you needed a "paper" confirmation that you're flying...

I was in DEL last week, and I was surprised to learn that in order to enter the airport you need to actually have a confirmation "paper" that you are flying, otherwise entry into the airport building is prohibited.

Its crazy that nobody told me anything about, haven't heard anything from the airline.

There is a place where you can have it printed for you for 30 RP, but beware the long lines that you need to wait it out. I had the luck that I was a FC pax on LH and I had somebody call outside their guy to talk to the officer at the door and show the flight manifest.

It didn't help showing confirmation on my phone, they need a "paper"..........

I don't want other people to go through hell like me and some others that I've witnessed going through.
