I did a little back of the envelope calculation a while ago. If the government gave AAL the same per capita gift that it gave GM, AAL could replace all planes except the new 777's and 737's.
We would be talking about AAL's amazing profit recovery. I suspect Horton ( Who...sorry....

...) could handle that.
