You're confusing when award travel becomes available to book and when there is award space available. Awards maybe booked unto 330 days from departure. That doesn't actually mean there is space available. LH releases award inventory on the basis of its own internal algorithms. LH, like most airlines, releases inventory to its own M+M members and then to *A. You just need to keep checking. LH may release more award space closer to departure time depending on revenue bookings.
