Actually my really first-ever TATL in 1997(?) I was op-upped from LHR-SFO with no status. Big comfy armchair seats and "dine any time you want", whatever happened to that?
op-up LHR-YYZ as an AA general member
same route, no op-up as a BA silver and similar loads on the plane.
