OK, let's start thinking about where to have dinner on Saturday, November 29. I'll leave the organizing of the earlier date (Nov. 24?) to someone who will actually be there on that date!

I've never been to Bangkok before, so I looked at restaurant recommendations in FlyerTalk Dining.

Some ideas that stand out, in addition to Cabbages and Condoms, are the Blue Elephant and Anna's Cafe (which has multiple locations; the Sala Daeng location looks good for me).

Any thoughts about these places? The Blue Elephant is on the pricey side (by Thai standards); Anna's is a lot less expensive. I'm open to paying Blue Elephant prices if the experience is worth it, but I don't want to impose the idea on others.
