I've flown twice in Envoy Suites (CLT-CDG; PHL-LHR) with a +1 and enjoyed the middle seats. Yes, one has to bend forward to have a face to face conversation, but 1- as a twentysomething, I'm still nimble enough to sit forward for as long as necessary, and 2 - it also means that conversations are limited - which for me is golden, as there are very few people who handle jetlag from a red-eye worse than me...
