but if its convenient you might want to use the in-town check-in at Central Station (Google seems a bit unsure whether BA have a desk there but I think they do). I think you can check in at the station 24 hours before the flight, so you should be able to resolve any issues there.
Used this a few weeks ago. Don't think BA allow you to check-in the day before but you certainly can from the morning of your flight.
