Contacting the airline that issued your ticket will be the best right now. They have the possibility to move you to an alternative out of BKK.
That's what I would have thought, but the service here at CDG has been absolutely appalling. (Full disclosure - I'm on an award ticket)
I arrived at 7am and went straight to the ticketing counter where the gentleman at the first class line outright refused to book my on anything but Star Alliance. Since the only options out of CDG today are on US carriers I have been downgraded to business class with no compensation and not so much as a "sorry for the inconvenience". I pushed hard to be moved to the Air France nonstop, but they wouldn't even entertain the idea.
The guy dodged any responsibility for the cancellations - I get that it's the controllers striking, and that piece is out of LH's control, but at the end of the day it was the airline that got to choose which flights were canceled and it was the airline that chose to cancel two back-to-back CDG-FRA flights taking away both options for me to connect to ATL.
I have read good things about Lufthansa's handling of IROPS in the past, but I was treated like a second class citizen because I am on an award ticket. This all could have been avoided if the LH transfer desk or reservations line would have taken some initiative and moved me over to their nonstop BKK-FRA flight which was still selling seats.
Instead I've now been downgraded, am stuck flying US Airways

and am getting home 3 hours later than originally planned.
