On a quicky mileage run, I again stayed here. Again the rate was $55.
The heater in the room didn't work. The housekeeper came in the room in the morning without knocking or announcing herself. When I got to the hotel they somehow had two reservations for me. The check-in clerk assured me that my room was a King, but it was two double beds.
At check-out, I apprised the very nice manager of all this and she was extremely apologetic and immediately herself invoked the 100% guarantee and voided the charge.
Slightly better breakfast than most Hamptons. Warm cinnamon rolls and decent bacon.
The room was better this time, as was the bedding. And the lobby has finally been renovated. But the manager said they were having some "staff training issues."
Yes, the are.
