No - I wish there was because u/gs (status recognition u/gs and mileage u/gs) are just about the only thing of value left in the airpoints scheme.
NZ seem to be holding back seats more for paid fares and releasing awards closer to departure than previously. Any seats released seem to get snapped up pretty quick.
I too was searching for award inventory ion C including in the two month window and not finding much NA to AKL and nothing on LAX-AKL route. With QF leaving the AKL-LAX market soon, even if this is a temporary glitch, it doesn't bode well long-term for C award space on NZ.
