That's surprising. I thought a one-class UG was a default benefit of being PC Platinum - on a space available basis.
I thought that was for Ambassador status, not PC Plat.

Definitely didn't get club access on any of my stays (and I did ask at check-in for each of them.) Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that an Ambassador will only get club access if they happen to get upgraded to a club level room. So even basic Amabassador status won't necessarily get you club access.
