KE charges fuel surcharge on awards.
Last time I checked, KE charged $300 fuel surcharge plus $80 tax on a roundtrip TPAC business class ticket.

Now DL only charged $46 tax + $25 phone fee for the exact same itinerary, but I guess DL has it's own set of problems.

If you live in LA, fly Asiana.
Much better than KE in a lot of ways.
