Cheapest Way to Fly to South Korea?

Hello! I'm trying to help my parents fly to South Korea (specifically Busan) from LAX sometime in June 2012. I have been reading and searching through this forum and I think the cheapest method is as follows:

1) Open up Chase Sapphire Preferred card
2) Meet the Spending
3) Use the 50K bonus to transfer to Korean Air --> Fly for "50K miles" less

I know there are many experts on this website, so any help/input would be much appreciated. Please let me know if you need any more info. Thank you in advance!!!
