I pride myself in getting the most out of my crew, listening to and developing from the feedback of my customers and by chatting to colleagues on other fleets (including a few from Flyertalk), to make sure that people see "British Airways" and not "Mixed Fleet." We are not a subsidiary or a franchise, we are the third Heathrow fleet, who have been through the same training as our colleagues on other fleets. I would love us all to work together, as I have colleagues from old airlines that are on other fleets, and would love to not have to consider a hat, but that isn't going to happen. In the meantime, we can all only learn from each other and keep putting the customer at the heart of what we do. Sorry for the rant, it's not that it's touched a raw nerve, just I want people to look forward to flying with me, because I certainly look forward to flying with all of you.
San Diego by the way, is a three day trip (one night downroute), and is absolutely exhausting but a lovely place to visit with lots to do. I for one will be very sad to see it disappear.
I was seriously unimpressed with my first few experiences of MF on LHR - MAN. On my last 4 trips they have been outstanding. I no longer feel despondent about MF taking over BOS in April - just a little sad that I won't run into my favorite WW CC any more.

(Unless I go somewhere else!
