If a Hertz location doesn't have any cars available in the class you reserved, do they have the ability to manually override a car's class so that the reciept says you drove the class you reserved? I feel like the reciept often shows a car normally classifed as "YF" as a "G" when I reserve a premium, and I have seen the same with intermediate cars when I reserve an "F" (i.e. Avenger).
I have also seen identical cars called "G" at one location and "YH" at another (i.e. navi LaCrosse). I'm not sure if it's a corporate policy or shady dealings at specific locations, but I feel like the car classes are a moving target that is often inconsistent across corporate locations. This seems especially true at airports, while HLEs IME are much more honest about what they do and don't have available.
