Another vote here for the jumbo over the 346, if only for this : F is right at the end of a long thin tube and the ride is rather jiggly, as though you're at the end of a twanging ruler. Close your eyes when you're lying down and you can clearly feel the bounce-bounce-bounce-bounce effect. The 744 rides with much more poise.
The A346 is what I call my "long trousers" plane. It was the aircraft on my route when I climbed up from flying economy to flying business plus, so I have a soft spot for it. It not only was my first full paid business ticket aircraft, but also my first First class ticket, my first First upgrade.
In my book the A346 can do no wrong, I thought all first class cabins had a twanging ruler bounce, I thought you paid extra for that
