Summary statement: If you have status it has improved. If you fly Business and dont' have status ( or are only SL) it has gone down to TWO pieces AND the third piece is $210!! BUT the weight is 70lb. What that means, is instead of flying with one larger and one small suitcase and sometimes a third, also small suitcase--each never weighing over 50 lbs. I buy a second large suitcase and fly with the same weight as before. ( just harder to handle) I also would love to see El Al put max suitcase size in inches as well as cm! My best is the email--"great news' --sorry????--my allowance has gone down--that is NOT great news!
