After the CO>Amtrak>Choice>WN fiasco of a few years ago (the way I got my first WN CP), Amtrak started requiring you to have their CC or to have spent $200 recently. Even then I think you are limited to 25K per calendar year transfer out. Double that for their elites.

No better way I know of to go from SPG > WN than the one in my post from last summer, linked above.

These are current for Amex MR transfers, I think:

Starwood 3:1
Hilton 1: 1.3
Best Western 1:1
Priority Club 1:1

None too great. If you can find someone you trust with Diners', I think her/she can transfer 1500>1200 WN; then you could redeem for him or her in exchange.

They don't make it easy.

SPG was transferrable to WN for about 7 weeks in early 2011 as I recall.
