I agree with VickiSoCal- I am a runner too. At times I end up working after my run with my high ponytail, eventually the headache starts. I found if I want my hair restrained, to put the ponytail at the nape of my neck. If I need to look 'nice'- I add a nice colorful clip or barrett to make the plain ponytail look dressier. Add a small scarf to accent your attire. Good luck! Don't forget to do neck rotations to ease the strain...
