"I don't believe it"

For the 2nd year running, BA have dropped the April/May early LHR-IAD-LHR 744 [BA217/216] and replaced it with a bludgy 777.

This is NOT fair. One reason we worked hard, using our own pennies, to qualify for Silver was to be able to get those really nice UD seats when booking. Our booking for this coming May was made back in August, and we were nicely set for 63A/B from the outset. Now, with NO warning from BA, we find [through a passing look at MMB for a completely different reason] that dreaded red ! and we're stuck in the Flying Dorm again.

This may sound extreme to some of you, but part of our loyalty to BA in recent years/££,£££ is to be able to enjoy the UD. If this keeps happening, we might have to start reassessing the other options ... that UD experience is the perfect start and finish to a nice long stay in VA. Now it's just another TATL trudge again.

And BA never even bothers to tell you directly that it's happened, which is rather tacky. Especially as by the time I discover the change other people have already grabbed decent seats.
