As I don't eat pork I once opted for a kosher meal on a long-haul BA flight, looking back I needn't have bothered as they rarely serve pork as a main course (seems to be in breakfast or sandwiches sometimes).

It was ok but not better or worse than the normal meal, but you will get exactly the same thing on the return leg and the excessive plastic packaging/temp/texture of it clearly shows it was made miles away and has been stuffed with preservatives (or deep frozen forever)
