I wanted to redeem my Avios on a 2-4-1 trip to Vegas this summer but availability was so poor I could only get the dates I wanted going via Phoenix. To do so I'll need to catch a connecting flight with US Airways.

The BA flight gets into Phoenix at 17:10. Just wondering what time to book the ongoing flight for assuming I'll need to clear customs, collect bags then go to domestic check-in. They seem to go pretty much every hour.

Any advice gratefully received
