Thanks Athlete - generally no time to spend the day in UVF. It might work one way tacked on to a weekend, but not both. After you've done it once for the experience, it probably wouldn't be worth saving £1,500 if it costs you two days.
The route generally has F, though they are flying 3-class 777-200s on Tuesdays at the moment (advantage: AVOD). I did think about F for the short leg, but the cost is nearly £800 return! Ridiculous when, in my experience, there are rarely more than about 4 passengers in F and about 10 in J on the UVF-POS leg. Even the Y fare is a little puzzling when you can do it on Caribbean airlines (from the generally more convenient SLU airport) for a fraction of the price.
