I just booked an award ticket to Asia with a stopover in Europe (UA-LH-TG-TG-UA), and fortunately it was ticketed in just 13 minutes.

I would have liked to have just reserved it for a day and transferred the miles from United to Continental to complete the purchase tomorrow (to mull over a couple routing choices), but given the likelihood of issues I went ahead and had enough Co miles in the account to purchase the award ticket automatically.
